	Effective January 1, 2008 : Prairie Land Dance Club is a smoke-free building in compliance with Illinois law. All events at the club will be smoke free.
Wednesdays	Evening Schedule: 7-7:30 - Open Dance 7:30-8 - Intermediate Lesson: 6/3 - Cotton Eyed Joe Mixer - Mahans 6/10 - Review Door Fee: $3/members; $5/nonmembers ~ Fee covers the whole night of dancing & lessons. (lessons are FREE on Wednesday night with a paid admission)
Fridays	Open Western Dancing every Friday 7-11pm. 6/5 - Open Dance ~ Welcome Ohio/Texas folks! Pot Luck Dinner - bring a dish to share. Silent Auction to raise money for the Christmas Party in December! 6/26 - We're Having a Cookout, hosted by the "Rowdy Group" Friday, June 26 Join us at PLDC for a Cookout – featuring grilled hamburgers and hot dogs cooked by our very own Chef Mike Patridge, supervised by his wife Maggie, and the “Rowdy Group” – George & Sandy Washbond – Steve & Delores Rager – Gary & Connie Mackling – Bob Fisher – Janice Syson. Burgers, Hot Dogs, Buns, and condiments are provided. Please bring a dish to share, along with a hearty appetite.
Saturday	6/6 - lvs2dnc.party Dance! See the Home Page for lots of information on this dance. There will be a variety of dance styles - something for everyone! Rhythm Swing (East & West Coast,Triple Swing), Cha Cha, Two-step, Night-Club, 2step, Meringue, Waltz and line dances intermingled. See Home Page for more details. Marilyn Ferry is your hostess and DJ - she's been working hard on the music selections. Come out for a great night of dancing! 6/6 - PLDC Work Day - Help make our property safer and cleaner - we'll be taking down the tress on the north side of the building. John M., Coordinator. Bring chain saws, safety gear, wheel barrels and a sack lunch. 6/13 - The Illiopolis Town Garage Sale is Saturday June 13th. In addition, there will be a Craft Sale that day! Why not jump in the car with some friends and drive to Illiopolis to take advantage of one-stop shopping? And bargains galore! There will be maps available with all the garage sales and the craft and flea markets will be in and around the 5th Street Mini Mall downtown Illiopolis. The club is between 6th and 7th Street - just drive down to 5th Street and take a right and that will take you to town. It all starts at 8am, so don't miss it! 6/16 - Ballroom Dance and Lesson Stan Andrews, Viennese Waltz ~ 7-8pm $5/pp Dance 8-11pm ~ Lesson $5 -- Dance $5 per dancer

December 31st	Thursday - this night is Open! This doesn't have to be a lot of work...a fantastic potluck dinner, great dancing, a few noisemakers and it's a party! Contact Sharon Hileman to sign up to host this dance!
